| 02 Site-Specific Banners. Mike Koenigs Case study: |
The Client: Michael Koenigs (www.mikekoenigs.com) is a strategic marketer, who needed several packages of banners for his client's sites.
The Challenge: to design promotional banners for a series of overwhelmingly text-heavy sites, which contained almost no clues for design imagery.
The Solution: concentrate on the target audience. For example, in case of www.everythingyoushouldknow.com, the banners target
doctors, spiritualists and business writers who want to expand their knowledge about publishing. By using images of creative and contemplative people in active states of writing or contemplating, the audience was encouraged to identify with the individual state-of-mind. |
